New Factory Opening September 2010
In September last year we had our official opening of our new factory and hosted 80 architects and guests to a function with live jazz and a sushi supper. The evening started with a sun control presentation by Guy Etherington for which CPD points were issued to participating architects after which the factory was opened by Mr Louis Steyn - The President of the Cape Institute of Architects. This fun evening was attended by guests as far as Johannesburg and went on until late in the evening. A memorable night for all.

New appointments
Danelle Theart has joined us in the role of office manager . In the short 3 months she has been with us fantastic changes have already occurred with the introduction and management of various systems. We are extremely lucky to have her on board and look forward to many more innovations

New Factory
After 3 years of continual expansion we needed new and larger premises which were found in a new complex in Brackenfell. The decision was taken to purchase our own factory which allowed us to customize it to our needs. All involved with Etherington Aluminium are extremely pleased with the results as each of the areas was designed to suit the specific task undertaken in that area.

Striebig Wall Router
In order to speed up manufacture in the composite panel division of our business we have recently purchased a brand new Striebig Standard 2 electronic vertical panel saw and router. This state of the art machine will greatly increase efficiency in that it allows us to manufacture material we previously had to outsource. The following picture shows our contract managers Taj Mohamed and John Eales cutting the 1st Hulabond boards.
